Neighbourhoods
House is in a quiet cul de sac so please respect that and our neighbours. There is a local shop on the corner where you will find all essentials. For bigger shopping, we recommend heading to one of the big supermarket chains in town. For fresh fruit and veg, there is a market in the town on certain days. Please let me know if interests and I will find out when exactly they are in town.

Getting around
Green walk
Behind the house, there is a green path which will take you straight to the town. Look for the National trust sign post and from there if you turn right you will be in Maidenhead town, turn left you can walk to Cookham across the field or carry on straight and you will find yourself by the river Thames. Depending on how fast you walk each of these foot journeys will take between 12 to 40 minutes. Quickest one in Maidenhead town.
