Traveler advice
Don't miss
Slow down, relax, enjoy the sites and the history
Madison County is home to the geographic center of NYS (located in Pratts Hollow), has played a major role in the history of the abolitionist movement and the women's suffrage movement, is home to the International Boxing Hall of Fame and is only a short distance from the Soccer Hall of Fame and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
While the area is more rural and probably home to more cows than people, there is so much to do within such a short distance and it is sure to keep you busy if relaxing by a lake is too slow of a pace.
