Traveler advice
Getting around
Download app PID Litacka
You can search for connections via this app as well as buy tickets for one way or shorter rides for tram, metro or bus. If you want to buy tickets for more days you need to buy it in the ticket machines, you can find them on every metro station and you can pay with card or cash.
Ways to save
Don't pay with € or other currency
You can pay with card in most places, otherwise use CZK (Czech Crowns - Koruny). Exchange rate in restaurants or shops for € or other places might be expensive. Only valid currency in Czech Republic is CZK. Also never ever exchange currency on the street, always use exchange offices. I recommend Exchange in Kaprova 13/14 or in passage Cerna Ruze, that's where locals go exchange.
