Cravens House Loop Trail is 9 miles north of here on historic Lookout Mountain. It’s a 3.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round.

Cloudland Canyon State Park is about 15 minutes away. There’s several hiking trails and majestic views. One of my favorites is Sitton’s Gultch trail at the foot of the mountain.

There's so much to see and do in Chattanooga. Just to name a few: TN Aquarium; Riverwalk; Ghost Tours; Historic District. This is also the place for the Ironman Competition each year in May in which the bicycling goes right through Flintstone, GA.

You can take hwy 341 and travel 6 miles away to the little town of Chickamauga. It's quaint and historic making you think you're walking back in time. You'll get a feel for southern culture for sure.
