Jones beach is just a 25 minute walk away. Take the path through Gainsborough Chase reserve and follow it up the hill, around the bend, across the road, through the tunnel and follow the scent of the sea.

Best place to swim, SUP or sightsee. Be sure to get there when the tide is high if you want to take a dip. Sunsets are quite spectacular if you can get yourself up on that headland. For surfers, paddle across to Mystics when the wind is blowing from the West or South West.

Bombo beach has some great surf but the banks are better on the southern end. The headland has some amazing rock formations. You should follow the path to Boneyards and Cathedral Rocks.

For the freshest sea food in Kiama, get yourself down here. We usually order a bunch of prawns and oysters and eat them out back by the rocks. Be sure to bring a lemon.
