Our city park is home to cutler donahoe covered bridge but thats not even the best part! There is a hedge maze to explore, two play areas, an 1800’s cabin, several chainsaw carved sculptures, two shelter houses, and lots of green spaces to run and play or cop a squat. There’s also a limestone bridge and Clarks Tower. I don’t suggest driving to the tower with anything bigger than a suburban but if you’re adventurous, its a great hike or bike ride.

Take a step back in time and wander the grounds or visit the chickens and peacock that roam the yard. If you’re a history lover you’ll want to spend at least a few hours here!

Skip the box stores and enjoy these small family and locally owned businesses!
Jane & Cheryl update the shop monthly. There is always something new. (And always something I need)

Food, libations and music 🎵

Try all kinds of localish beers, wines, and ciders or a bougie cocktail at The Drift taproom and eatery. If the weather is nice, walk the couple blocks to the square (the cocktails are strong) and enjoy the outdoor patio looking up at the courthouse!

Getting around

Experience small town living

There is plenty to do within walking or biking distance but you’ll want a car so you don’t miss out on the rural spots!
