Fine dining. This wonder of a restaurant is the ultimate feast. I recommend the tasting menu, the very best! Rather than serving individual starters and main courses, the tasting menu is a combination of dishes that are designed for sharing and are brought to the table steadily and continuously throughout the meal. The menu comes with selected wines (one for each course). http://www.fiskmarkadurinn.is. In the city centre.

Mjóstræti and Fischersund are what is left of the old town. The very historic heart. An intact tiny island away from time, surrounded by a completely different-looking modern capital.
