Built in 1606 in the park "Kongens Have" (The Kings Garden). Today its a culture-historical museum which tells the story of the Danish kings through 300 years, from Christian the 4th around 1600 to Frederik the 7th in 1863. Crowjuvels and the Danish Throne is exibited here.

There is also 3 bronze casts of the poles which the members of the resistance was tied to, before getting shot.

Getting around
Transportation in Copenhagen
Use the metro for travelling from/to the airport. The metro is by far the best way of transport in the central city. The station "Kongens Nytorv" includes all lines in the metro.
S-Toget (The S-Train) is good for traveling a bit outside the city. Be aware that the S-train is not on Amager.
