Mark and I enjoy walking the trails just off the "Grand Promenade" ( the area just behind the bathhouses) to the top pf Hot Springs Mountain. From there you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Quachita Mountains, Hot Springs Mountain, and Diamond Lake area. Fun Fact: Known as the "birthplace" of Major League Spring Training. Hot Springs used to host more than 300 professional baseball players annually. They were attracted to the city due to Hot Springs National Park, at that time prized for its thermal spring water believed at the time to cure a wide range of ailments.
