Getting around
No car needed, but recommended
You’ll be walking distance to shopping, dining, and nightlife. Historic Charlotte Amalie is about a mile from our location. We recommend you rent a car if you want to explore the island and enjoy the beaches. It is the most convenient and economical way to get around. If you prefer, a taxi driver is ok too. We can provide driver recommendations. Keep in mind most taxis only accept cash.
What to pack
Think relaxation and comfort.
We are in the tropics and it’s a sunny 87-91 degrees year round. It can get humid, so we recommend to dress light and comfy to explore. Bring bug repellent. As I said before, we are in the tropics and we have mosquitoes and noseeums 😆. They come out after 4pm and you won’t see them, but you will see the marks. Pack comfortable walking shoes if you decide to take advantage of the location.
