An original bar & cocina -- most nights they have live music. The mojitos are excellent, but I don't recommend getting the top shelf rum. Their well rum is delicious and it saves about $10/drink.
If you can choose your seating, sit on the back patio - it's quieter, and has a "traditional Miami" feel.

Best sushi I've had on the East Coast. The location is tiny! You absolutely must have reservations as they only seat 6-8 people. If you're up for it, the Omakase is excellent (it is a bit pricey). The owner/chef recently moved from Japan and opened up this little gem.

An absolute MUST for coffee and pastries. Also, if oranges are in season, the orange juice is freshly squeezed. It's like drinking liquid gold.
My usual order: coratdito con evaporada, orange juice, and a guava pastry. :-)

Traveler advice
Useful phrases
"Con evaporada" with evaporated milk.
When you order traditional Cuban coffee, you can ask for evaporada. It's a way to sweeten your cortadito, and it's defitely the preferred way to enjoy your coffee!
