The home of Albarino wine. Great historic town with great restaurants and all the local vineyards sell their wines in the shops. Every first weekend in August is the Albarino festival pairing beautifully with the seafood of the area. What grows together, goes together!

The town of Pobra do Caraminal is wonderful at night for tapas and people watching. The restaurants along the alleys and the restaurants have excellent food. There is nothing better than to sit outside a cafe and watch the couples (young and old) promenade after dinner arm in arm!
Mercado on Wednesday is excellent and the fish market here is hopping every day (except Sunday and Monday)
Pobra hosts some amazing fiestas too throughout the summer and fall.
