Bring a good jacket in winter
Taradale Country Cottage sits at 425m above sea level. During winter Taradale is known for its stunning frosts and gorgeous hills. While the cottage is toasty warm, outside is refreshingly cold.
What to pack
Always bring your camera.
The Taradale rail viaduct is a fantastic engineering achievement during the 19th century, connecting Melbourne to Bendigo. At the time, Taradale was more populous than Ballarat or Bendigo with 28 pubs!
