Getting around
Getting here
If you can, we recommend coming by ferry or train. It’s a nice ride in. Both are short walks to our place. Certainly less than ten minutes. And you really don’t need a car if you’re just visiting Salem
Don't miss
Salem maritime national historic site
This is such a cool place. You can walk up and down the wharf and imagine what it was like when Salem was a large active port with huge ties to Asia!

Podcast
Check out “Salem The Podcast” on your way in to town for some great Salem stories from local tour guides!
Getting around
Transport
You can walk everywhere but if there is something you want to get to on the outskirts Salem Skipper is a new ride sharing service you can check out for cheap rides around town. There’s also a trolley.
Getting around
Into Boston
Between may-October you can take the ferry into Boston! Beautiful ride and it takes about 50 minutes. Alternatively, a faster route is the commuter rail which takes about 30 mins and drops you in north station/td garden.
