Chillagoe is a remote inland mining township. Geologists located dinosaur bones in and around Chillagoe. They are on display in the community Chillagoe Hub. Chillagoe has caves open to the public via a Tour Guide. The caves have amazing crystal and superb stalagmites and stalactites. There are 2 pubs where you can be entertained by local characters and have a Far North Queensland pub meal.
