Former Mission Bay Visitor Center gets new life as coffee shop, rental center, and small vineyard. Warning - the coffee shop is 100% vegan. The remodel of this iconic building is fantastic. It is now referred to as the Mission Bay Beach Club. Highly recommend you sit in the outdoor space and soak up some rays.

Traveler advice
Getting around
Trolley - Clairemont Drive Station
Best trolley option for walking. Just under 1 mile away. If traveling by car to the station then I recommend the Tecolote Road station for parking. Download the PRONTO app to utilize.
Amtrack runs from the Old Town Transit Center. The track is undergoing maintenance, so double check schedule details. Currently (April 2023) the weekday trips to Irvine or Los Angeles Union Station consist of trains and bus rides from Oceanside to Irvine; however the transfer was pretty easy. Download the Amtrak app for accurate schedules.
