Traveler advice
Getting around
This cabin is not on a map search. Host will provide clarity
This cabin is located on the intersection of Toothaker Pond Road and Pond LN. If you go by the pond you have gone too far. If you see the pond you are very very close. Easily seen from the paved road you come in on.
What to pack
This is a camp so no washer and dryer
There is running water (and hot for showers!) yet we do not have a washer dryer on site. You can wash in the sink and dry in the outside air or there are two laundry mats within 8 - 15 miles should you have a longer stay.
What to pack
This cabin is on a pond so we must highlight safety for all.
Please make sure all party members are cautious around uneven ground and nearby water. You are welcome to bring non motorized boats such as canoe or kayak with your life jackets to be worn (these are not provided with the cabin). Also important to know the water does have leeches so please be aware these may attach to people and pets. Easily removed by hand or applying salt. For summer months please know around water and wooded areas there will be pesky mosquitos. Outdoor candles and yard spray for the bugs are located in the cabin if needed. Enjoy the very natural location in Maine.
