STAY HYDRATED!!
Regardless if you are hiking or going shopping take plenty of water. An hour before leaving drink lots of water then while on your activity have plenty of water with you. When u think you have enough take another bottle especially in the summer. The most avid can succumb to the heat here. If you do hike stay on the trails, make sure phone is charged and stay off your phone while hiking. If you become lost you want to make sure you have battery life to call for help. Unfortunately it’s happened where an entire group’s phone’s died and couldn’t call for help.
