Shopping
Shopping in Milan is the best and what made me move here.
It's not a mall in one building but it's the closest thing to a mall in the city. Nothing but shops from Zara to more particular brands.

Coperto & Tipping
Most restaurants charge a Coperto (cover charge) for any where from 2.50 and up. If you have a coffee sitting down, it usually costs more than if you having standing at the bar. You are NOT expected to tip in Italy for any service.
Getting around
Public Transport, Taxis, Uber & Walking
From the flat, you can walk or take Public Transport which is steps away and pay by tapping a chipped card. Legally a Taxi must take a credit or debit card but it doesn't mean they won't try to tell you the credit card machine isn't working. It's easier to walk or take public transport. They have Uber Black in Milan and it's easier if you don't speak Italian or you don't have cash.
