Sightseeing
This area has many outdoor activities. We have the Kinzua Dam, Kinzua Bridge State Park, Chatman Dam, the Allegheny Forest has many hiking trails. There is a wonderful Jamestown Audubon less that 4 miles from the B&B, they are very active and this is a great area for viewing the migratory raptors. Surprisingly the Audubon property has 300 acres and many trails for hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, and is the birthplace of Roger Tory Peterson. Roger Tory Peterson has a museum dedicated to his raptor collection near the Jamestown Community College. Washington Park in Warren has a great overlook of the city of Warren.
At one time this was the tallest man made bridge, was destroyed by a tornado. Attempts were made to rebuild it, but finally it was just covered and set up for sightseeing.
