Food Scene
This place is amazing - last time we went I had the most amazing scallops served with black pudding, washed down with a rhubarb gin fizz cocktail. At the end of the evening a piper played the bagpipes in full Scottish regalia.

Glasgow University is located in the heart of Glasgow's West End. It is a stunning historical building and the cloisters are not to be missed. Go at Christmas time and you will see the University Choir while partaking in some mulled wine and mince pies. Check out the Hunterian Museum located in the University and also the Mackintosh House - a reassemblage of the home where world renowned architect / artist (Charles Rennie Mackintosh) lived in Glasgow.

Parks & Nature
Glasgow means "Dear Green Place" and it's well named - there are so many gorgeous walks and most are a short trip away. This park is 15 minutes walk from the apartment - on a good day I would walk from the apartment, over University Ave (past Glasgow Uni) and through this part to Glasgow City Centre - that takes around 45 minutes in total and is lovely. This park in the morning is quiet and peaceful with mostly dog walkers and those who want to practice Tai Chi. On the sunny days it becomes packed quickly as Glaswegians take to the grassy slopes to enjoy the sun.
