Great place for a drink on the patio or a meal. Many things on the menu are my favorites but the veggie burger is especially delicious! They do brunch on weekends and lunch and dinner every day.

A little on the higher end price wise but the delicious food is worth it! It's fresh Italian that is done family style and the menu changes with the seasons. Every season is delicious!

Fun beer hall atmosphere with shared tables and lots on tap. There is also a bourbon room upstairs and a bowling alley in the basement. If you are eating try out my personal favorites of fried pickles and/or tator tots!

If you have never been before you have to take a trip to Banff to see the Rocky Mountains. It's truly like nothing you've ever seen! There is lots to do here to make a day trip (or two) of it.

Paskapoo is a beautiful area only a short 5 minute walk from my house. This is my "happy place" where I walk my dog many times a week. You can do a light walk or an urban hike for up to a couple hours. The trees are especially beautiful in the fall.

This mall is directly on the C-train line in down town. Its a good option on the weekends as it tends to be much less busy than other malls.

This is also on the train line but you would need to change trains downtown. This is the largest regular mall in the city and has lots of shops including a higher end section.

This is the only outlet mall in Calgary. It is a fairly far drive from my house (30-40 min) but if you are flying in or out is near the airport. This is somewhere you would want a car to drive to.

This is the least expensive grocery store in the neighborhood. Good for most of the basics that you might need and a short 20 minute walk from the house. They don't take all credit cards so make sure to have cash or debit as a back up.

This is the closest movie theater to my house. There is also a shopping center there. The National in West hills usually offers a movie deal of 2 tickets and a $30 credit toward your bill with them for $50. It is right across from the theater so a good place to grab a bite before or after a movie.
