I LOOOOVE this restaurant. Czech celebrity Chef that as well runs Caffe Imperial, opened this gem of a restaurant where you can see the chefs in open concept kitchen and the traditional take on Czech food gets a little bit of a lift. Try the Viennese Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and Duck with cabbage, followed by a poppy seed ice cream and sweet dumplings:)

Thanks to the location of historical heart of Prague and the spirit of the cafe, you are get surrounded by history, from all sides. These things are intensified by beautiful view of Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and National Theatre. It is possible to see these, right from the table, with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. There is a pianist from 5pm till 10 pm. This caffe is an institution dating back to 1881. A must experience in Prague.
