All we can say is wow. Expansive tapas menu (small plates) crafted with local seasonal ingredients. Incredible, affordable curated wines by the glass. Check out the adjacent wine shoppe. The owner and chef Robin is a NYC restauranteur exile who gives off Gordon Ramsay vibes but truly a gem when you respect his place and act like a human being. Solve the riddle above the kitchen door…

You have never tasted smoked salmon, smoked trout, smoked shrimp or smoked lobster tails this good. The payoff after finding this place down a long dirt road is experiencing the oddball owner and smokemaster Ray Turner. Be advised: he will ask you to be vaccinated and to put on a mask and to wash your hands at his handwashing station before you enter his establishment (even in 2024!). You will gleefully comply, and then be treated to what can only be described as the most unique and certainly the most delicious smoked fish you’ve ever tasted. He accepts credit cards. He takes hygeine and food safety very seriously. We learned how to calibrate a cooking thermometer to check our fridge. You will, too.
