Traveler advice
Getting around
Buses are the cheapest way to go around
If you can, avoid taxis. Buses (called "guaguas" in the local dialect) go almost anywhere on the island. You can purchase tickets directly on the bus. There is a bus stop in Los Gigantes (Bus stop "Titsa Harbour club"). You'll find schedules on this website: https://titsa.com/index.php/en/
Customs and culture
Please recycle!
They are a bit hard to find, but there are recycling bins almost everywhere on the island. Recycling pods are separated into Glass, Plastics, and Paper/Cardboard.
The closest to you are the ones located at the port, right next to the entrance barriers.
The rest of the waste can be thrown in the regular bin.
Don't miss
Dolphin and whale watching is a must
There are several boat tours departing from Los Gigantes harbour to see dolphins and whales.
