Great selection of bikes of all kinds, plus parts and a shop. If you discover you have a flat (well 1st call me and I'll tell you how to get to our pump) that you can;'t address, you can walk your bike there in less than 5 minutes. The crew is always friendly and like everyone in Tahoe...they love dogs.

Down underneath the "Boatworks" shopping center, clean welcoming studio, right on the lake! They even have a stand-up paddleboard Yoga class...I've not been brave enough to try it yet. They don't have showers, but it's only a 5 min walk from the house...and of course, they encourage you to go jump in the lake!

The draw here is the outdoor seating on the river, the food is pretty much standard pub fare, big burgers, but the reason to go is to hang out on the river and enjoy the view. Great spot to walk or bike to, or end a hike/ride.

Don't miss
Don't miss the walking/bike path
Tahoe City has a great bike path that runs for miles around the lake and down the river. Biking down to the River Ranch for lunch is a fun/beautiful/easy ride and you can always blow-by and head all the way to Squaw Valley if you are feeling adventurous. If you head out from teh cabin, down the street, cross the main street and head down to the water the path runs right along the shore. We bike it with our 5-year-old all the time.
