Worth climbing up the flight of stairs just to enjoy the lovely view of the sea from here. One can visualize how the Malaccans, Portugese (and later the Dutch) kept a watchful eye for fleets of ships coming to invade Malacca! Whilst up there, enjoy the breeze too, especially on a hot day ! Unfortunately, it is not wheel chair friendly.

If you feel like having some exercise, take a walk up the St John's Hill like many Malaccans do. The view from this small fort is not bad too. This is only around 5-10 minutes walk from the house.
