The food and service is fabulous. Tell Cal and Gen (owners) Gail and Mike sent you. Also, make a reservation and ask to sit at the counter where you can talk to Cal as he prepares your dinner.

The restaurant is on the first floor and has great steaks and seafood. Also, one of my favorite bars is on the roof top and has a great view of the Caloosahatchee River. It opens at 4 pm for happy hour. They generally have a local singer or DJ on the weekends.

Ask for a reservation in the courtyard. It is beautiful and has a resident cat named Peaches. The scallops are my favorite but the Bourbon Street Filet is equally delicious.

Sightseeing
Edison and Ford were snowbirds and chose Ft. Myers for their home. You can take a guided tour or a self guided tour with headphones. The reason I like the guided tour is you are able to go inside the homes. Otherwise, you are only able to peer through the windows. Very interesting, historical tour.
