My favorite restaurant anywhere. Lovely ambiance, Italian food to die for. Insider tip: Order the gnocchi (it's not on the menu). Definitely need a reservation.

Great organic juices, juice cleanses, etc. but the best things about this small shop are their sandwiches. I recommend the Daily Special Turkey Sandwich (it's the same sandwich every day). I order it with extra crispy bacon. For vegetarians, my daughter's favorite is the Muffaletta sandwich, an Italian-olive-veggie-spread with cheese. To die for.

If you’re Vegan, you will love the food here! If not, you may want to come for the incredible drinks and beautiful bar in the back, and eat at one of the other phenomenal restaurants in town. Have you ever had Burmese food? If not, it’s a must do! Mingalaba’s fare is so incredibly flavorful. When my vendors come to town, they insist on eating there!

My favorite post-hike treat is the Tuna Melt on Dutch Crunch. By far the best sandwiches in town! More of a carry-out sandwich shop than sit-down but there are a couple tables outside in the sun.

The best deep dish pizza around! Their thin crust is also to die for. Their outdoor area behind the restaurant with heat lamps is family friendly.

Coyote Point has a wonderful natural museum that houses rescued wildlife. It's not huge, but it is lovely and it's great for kids. Follow the trails through the eucalyptus trees and out along the bay for lovely views..

Wonderful playground for the little ones. The community center is under construction, but the rest of the park is open for frisbee, tennis, picnicking. The dog park at the corner of Burlingame Ave. & Carolan is a delight for your four-legged friend!
