A gorgeous palm lined four km stretch of blue skies and water and yellow sand perfect for walking along. At low tide you can ride your bike along the whole stretch. As the day goes on the palms provide more and more shade over the beach, so no need for an umbrella or shade tent in the afternoon.
If you want to swim at the beach please check the conditions with the surf-lifesavers and only swim between the flags.
Access paths can be found along Sand St.

While you can self drive up to Cape Tribulation and explore the rainforest on the way, we highly recommend taking a tour to get the most out of the place. Experienced guides can show you all the best places, share their abundant knowledge and maybe even find you some wildlife!

A favourite spot for visitors and locals alike. Find yourself a patch of grass, spread out the picnic blanket & chairs (provided at Wayfarer) and enjoy a glass of bubbles and tapas while watching the sun set. The view and the atmosphere are amazing. For the kids there's a cool little pirate ship playground, perfect for making new friends.
