Food Scene
This place is often featured as the most unique restaurant in the state. It’s an upscale seafood, pasta, steakhouse. You can eat overlooking the lake. It’s just a neat place. Expensive so I always go for Happy Hour (M-F 4p-7p; Sa 4p-6p; Su 4:30-6) instead and get good food and drinks for a handful of dollars. It’s about a 20 minute drive.

I always recommend Sokolowski’s to family and friends. Don’t go when they first open, the line is around the building. Other times, there is not much of a wait. This is Cleveland’s oldest family owned restaurant. You get in line, grab a tray, and the family loads you up at a very reasonable price. One disclaimer, they have a picture or two of the Pope and a little, plastic religious statue here and there so if you would find that offensive, skip this place. There's often an older gentleman there playing the piano; his name is Tom. A 15 minute drive.

This is Michael Symon’s New American Eatery. It is excellent, but pricey. 2058 E. 4th. A 17 minute drive far into downtown Cleveland. This is the only one on the list where you’d have to pay for parking, since it is downtown.

They have pitas and rice bowls. A lot of people like their food. I think Aladdin's food is much better, though. However, Liquid Planet has a great selection of smoothies and I would recommend those!
