This is a free boat ride back and forth from Manhattan that is 25 minutes long and goes by the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Governors Island, and Jersey City. Beautiful views. Runs 24 hours.

Dating back to before the Revolutionary War, Fort Wadsworth is now home to the USCG. Free historical tours daily. Taken by the British in 1776! (we got it back)

During the summer, take the free Staten Island Ferry to the free Governors Island ferry to take a free tour of Castle Williams which dates back to the Revolutionary War. Beautiful beach bar and park.
