No visit to the area is complete without a stop at touristy Sunset Beach! Hunt for Cape May diamonds, see the sunken concrete ship & time it to witness the daily flag-lowering with Taps at sunset; this is the best place to go for souvenirs -- trinkets, shells and reasonably priced items, many of which are actually tasteful and/or useful

Parks & Nature
Cox Hall Creek is about a 2 minute drive (or ride a bike) and is a great place to walk, jog or run on the paved paths (which were golf cart roads in a former life) or fresh-water fish in the stocked pond. Autumn is exceptionally beautiful in this park, as the colors and the reflections on the water are picture perfect.

Fisherman's Memorial on Cape May Harbor (Missouri Ave & Baltimore St) is a nice little spot to collect your thoughts or have a stroll with a friend, as you can park for free in the lot there and either head down to the small beach access or head up the street going left and left again to walk along the harbor bluff towards the Nature Center.
