Food Scene
Though they're a bit pricey, they're the highest-rated restaurant in town and rightfully so. Their food is amazing! If you're not sure what to order, Vietnamese Lemongrass Chicken, any of their Udon choices, and their sushi (if you like sushi - I don't, but my friends do) are all highly recommended. The traditional Pho soup is very good, as well as the onion soup.

They have some of the best donuts (and donut holes) in the area! I recommend their strawberry shortcake donuts, which have strawberry jelly mixed with white frosting inside. Their chocolate cake glazed donuts are also really, really good. You really can't choose a bad one.
Their food is also pretty good, especially their bagels. They have a good selection of flavors and some choices of spreads too for your bagel. I don't recommend the cannolis though.
Their coffee is fairly good, admittedly not amazing, but their italian cream sodas are incredibly good!
This is one of my favorite spots in town and many of my friends have fallen in love with it too... especially their donuts.

One of the few restaurants open 24/7 - their food is fairly good, and their unlimited refills on iced coffee is pretty awesome. :)

Again, one of the few places open 24/7 - it's technically a gas station franchise, but, wherever they pop up, Sheetz has become kind of a hangout spot familiar to all of Pennsylvania. Their food is surprisingly good. Their boneless wings, any of their appetizers, salads, burgers, subs, sandwiches, pretzel hotdogs, and specialty drinks are all really good. Drive thru is 24/7, and there are places to sit and hang out inside while you enjoy your meal too.

My new favorite spot! I cannot recommend this place enough! It's a perfect experience in every way - high-quality food, amazing drinks, great atmosphere, everything! If you're a foodie, you'll love it. If you're into eating healthy, you'll love it too. They have the best hot-chocolate that's perfect in the winter time. All of my friends so far agree on that too. :) Their iced-coffee is highly recommended too! The menu does cost a bit more, but it's worth it for the experience. Their Bittersweet Burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had, if not the very best. If there's one place I recommend the most, this is it.

This road (Route 40) follows the historic National Pike Road. In the spring of each year, a group of people dress and live as old-time wagon-train pioneers and travel the length of this historic road, celebrating our National Pike Festival.
Because this road is so historic, you will find many well-known locations along its path, including Fort Necessity, Braddock's Grave, and Mt. Washington Tavern.

Ohiopyle is a must-see if you've never been to our area. If you enjoy hiking trails, biking trails, white-water rafting, white-water kayaking, or even the calm enjoyment of taking a stroll around the main waterfall and the shops and restaurants nearby, you will love the beauty that surrounds you. There is great food, coffee, ice-cream, and pie (I know that's odd, but it's that good and kinda well-known around here).
