Garden of Philosophy is a real hidden gem on the side of the Gellert Hill. There are less tourists, but the sight of Budapest is just as beautiful, only some of the locals know this, a peaceful park with statues of philosophers.
One of the peculiarities of this garden is the group of statues, where among others Jesus Christ and Buddha meet for "The Better Understanding of Each Other" (as can be read on the base). There is also a lovely statue about the union of Prince 'Buda' and Princess 'Pest'.
The park is perfect to enjoy a good book or to meet with friends, or simply to take a look at this somewhat hidden part of Budapest.
