Food Scene
Owned and operated by locals. Reserve early! It sells out even in the off-season! Small and intimate. Good portions, yet not clumsy. Delicious and consistent and a 13 minute walk downhill from the unit. Small but fantastic wine list. Try the braised beef! Take the trail behind the house!

The best views of gorgeous Nita Lake! Lovely selection of beer and cocktails that changes frequently to keep it fresh. In-house made vegan cheese - in fact their vegan options are approved by non-vegan eaters as well. Ask what they can do for you! Order the organic beef burger! 13 minute walk from the unit.

Gluten free options, excellent vegan pizza and meats are hormone free. Wood-burning oven makes pizzas that are leagues above your typical pizza chain. Great place to try some reasonably priced BC wine too.

Best bread EVER!! Chef Jen has kamut, sourdough and a ton more. Of course, she sells some cookies, treats, sandwiches and coffee as well. She has 2 locations: one in Function Junction (the original where are the baking is done) and a second at Nesters shopping center in the Nesters neighbourhood. If you are wanting to sit there and have coffe, go to the Nesters location. If you are just going to buy bread for the house, pick it up at Function Junction.

Parks & Nature
This location is so popular (damn Instagram!) you now need to pay for a day pass through BC Parks website through most of the year. Check out this website for updates... https://bcparks.ca/explore/parkpgs/garibaldi/
This long uphill mountain trail takes you to stunning Garibaldi Lake where you can camp overnight, continue to Black Tusk or take a refreshing dip (in glacial water) before heading back down. So beautiful - It will take the entire day.

Hiking and biking trails and in the winter snowshoe and cross country trails. Go to Lost Lake Passiv Haus and rent bikes, skis and gear and grab a map. The trails are marked as Black Diamond - difficut, Blue - intermediate, and Green - easy. Trails are well marked although you will feel as if you are lost way outside of civilization. If it's raining, just go for a walk and take the smaller single-track trails. The forest canopy will keep you fairly dry!

Essentials
It's only an 10 minute walk downhill from the unit and has a very good selection for it's size. The fruit quality at this grocery store is the best in town throughout all seasons. They also have fresh baked pies and bread from Sunflower Bakery in Squamish - delicious! Creekside is also the only free parking left in all of Whistler, so if you'd rather drive, there is additional parking underground.
