This pizza place located in the strip behind CVS looks pretty plain from the outside but they make good pizza.
Im from the Bronx and am used to good pizza. A lot of places upstate NY cannot make decent pizza. These guys can. If you not looking for anything fancy but want pizza or a quick meal go here. The brochette is pretty good too.

This swimming hole is a personal favorite. Just after you drive across the bridge you can park at the top of the hill near the Fire House. You have to climb down under the bridge and you will have your own little freshwater oasis. Do not go here early in the season as the water will be ice cold and raging from snow melt from the mountains. Also you need to be in decent physical condition to go up and down.

You cannot miss this campground, its on the way to my house. It has the massive T-Rex dinosaur skeleton next to the ponds. If you ever just come up to Saugerties to go camping, go here.
