Driving up Ute Pass is a beautiful drive. Do the drive! Just go the speed limit, stay in the right lane and let the crazies race by. Look at the rock formations. It is spectacular. You can stop at the Wines of Colorado for a snack at Cascade, Colorado or keep driving up the pass to Green Mountain Falls, Crystola, Woodland Park and more in the mountains.

If you go North, you can follow Shooks Run until you hit Rock Island Trail (at Lilac St). You can turn left and get to Monument Valley Trail system.
