Parks & Nature
You can easily walk to Ellenberger Park. There is a public pool ($4 for adults, $3 for children), 2 playgrounds, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, softball fields, and lovely trail around the perimeter. If you don't mind longer walks, I tend to go through the park to get to downtown Irvington.

This coffee shop looks like it was made for posting pictures on Instagram. It's on a somewhat hidden street, so it feels like you stumble upon a secret, but it's still walkable to all Mass. Ave. has to offer.

Such a fun pre-dinner activity! About $20 will get you a “pour your own” candle experience, and then you get to take home your own custom scented candle (after it sets for 90 minutes). Reservations aren’t required but are recommended on weekends and with large groups.
