The Puerto Princesa Underground River has been voted one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, so understandably its one that most tourists check out whilst in town. It’s actually based in Sebang, a small beach town about 2-and-a-half hours from Puerto Princesa, but it’s easily accessible as a day trip.

The Puerto Princesa Underground River has been voted one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, so understandably its one that most tourists check out whilst in town. It’s actually based in Sebang, a small beach town about 2-and-a-half hours from Puerto Princesa, but it’s easily accessible as a day trip.

Nearest white sand beach within Puerto Princesa. Forty minutes by car. Entrance fee is minimal and hut fees are reasonable as well. Great spot for a quick getaway, popular with locals.
