Drinks & Nightlife
A hidden gem just at the waterfront away from the crowds. Amazing view and sunset. Nice wine and a couple of dishes that changes daily. You can go just for coffee or a glass of wine.
There is also a new bar called baby baby around the corner out on the mole. Amazing location. My new favorite place.

Parks & Nature
Volden.
Best place to relax and enjoy nature - only a few meters from our place.
Christianshavns Ramparts form a playground for children and a place to enjoy long runs. The old bastions and paths along the moat also make a great walking route. There have been trees and shrubs here since the fortifications were built in the 1600s, and out on the moat live coots, moorhens, grebes and swans.

One of my favorite streets of Copehagen. The perfect place browsing art galleries and vintage shops, grabbing coffee, or brunching at sidewalk tables. Has just been featured in Vogue. It says:
"All of the Coolest Spots in Copenhagen Are on This Street"
"Pretty much every boutique on the block is worth a peek".

This is the place all Copenhageners go to if it is hot and sunny.
Open air swimming right in the centre of the city. Meet local families with children, beach boys and regular swimmers alike.
The quality of the water is checked daily. There are five pools in all, two of which are specifically for children. There is a lawn in front of the pool where you find lots of room for sun-bathing, picnics, ball games, etc.

Rent your own boat and toodle along the canals. A great and different way to enjoy the city. There is a table in the middle of the boat and you can bring your own food and beverage. The boat is very easy to drive, especially since it doesn't go very fast even at maximum speed
The line can be long so make an reservation. You pay per hour.

Be aware that cameras are not popular at Christiana, particularly in Pusher Street.
I recommend you walk along the nice lake and look at some interesting houses/architecture. The map is not accurate. You have to move a little further down Prinsessegade or by the lake to get to the main area of Christiana.

It was built as an astronomical observatory. It is most noted for its equestrian staircase, a 7.5-turn helical corridor leading to the top, and for the expansive views it affords over Copenhagen
