Sip a coffee with your breakfast sandwich at Cranewood Bakery, or try the tasty new Kurdish spot (Fener's Place) for supper.
Fresh, plentiful, and inexpensive bibimbap or seafood udon are two of my top Sackville choices, and they can both be found at Song's Chopsticks.
The Black Duck folks at 19/21 Bridge St change up their business offerings often, but they are always great. At this time their restaurant is called Ducks Aren't Real.
All just a few minutes' walk from the apartment.
Bistro Chat Bleu & Wild Caraway are a bit of a drive, but also worth it!
*I've tried to provide up-to-date info on local businesses, but it is always a good idea to check with them before making plans.
If you find yourself hungry for lunch while visiting our neighboring town of Amherst, I recommend stopping in at the Art of Eating Deli. Very good paninis, wraps, salads and soups. Daily specials include shawarma, curry, fish cakes, chowder... Gluten free options are available, the coffee is good, and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Eat-in, or to-go.

This looks far away on this map, but it's not (just a very long trail). Start in the waterfowl park, and follow the trail up to Silver Lake and beyond! Perfect for cycling, and nearby on-leash dog walking. The trail starts at the foot of Weldon (there is a sign), but you can get to it more quickly by going down Morgan. Part of the Trans Canada Trail.
