There’s a lovely restaurant walking distance called Sahebs Indian. There’s also a fish and chip shop, bakery, and two grocery shops in the centre of the village. Just under 1 mile away is our local pub (The White Hart), and a cafe called the Lime Wharf Cafe, with views over the steam railway and river. This river is where you can also rent rowing boats and paddle boards (from the cafe). They also often have music playing a great vibe in their garden with outside bar area. Bodiam Castle is 4 miles away and well worth a visit. The nearest towns are all about 6 to 7 miles away, Rye, Tenterden, a
