The Orange Line stop on Laurel Canyon is great because it zips to North Hollywood Metro Red Line, and then you can go to Hollywood, Ktown, and Downtown in one straight shot. There are plenty of Orange Line buses, but if you want to get some exercise you can walk to the North Hollywood Red Line stop in 15 min.
