Food Scene
Tapas to share, very nice and bubbly atmosphere. And the food is great! It can get quite busy, but it's walk-in only, so you can try your luck every day, if you get the timing right! One of my favourite place to snack in Melbourne

The best dumplings I've had in Melbourne. The place gets quite busy, but I believe they accept bookings. Not too pricey, so it's a good address if you want to eat good food, fast.

One of the nicest restaurant along the Yarra River. It serves very nice food and a variety of drinks, with cools tunes and sometimes a DJ - not sure why or when though.
If it's sunny, it will be packed, so you might have to be patient before you get a table!

My personal favourite, but it usually requires a 3 weeks to a month to get a table. They accept walk-in, but the spots are limited, so you should go either early (6pm) or a bit later (9pm onwards).
The wine list is quite broad and they have very nice wines, but that will put a significant premium on your bill.
This is not a budget place, so you should only go there if you're not afraid to spend $100 to $200 per person.
Great place for a dinner with your partner, although it's not a quiet place.

A very nice place with finger food and drinks range from affordable to less affordable, with an outdoor terrace overlooking Swanston street. It a nice place to relax in the early evening, after a day of work - or sightseeing.

The highest view in Melbourne, if you like this kind of thing. It's about 25$ to get up. Don't go there if you're satisfied with the apartment view; it's only 30 floors higher! ;)
