A family restaurant-generous portions, very popular (there's often a wait to be seated). My Chosen Pizza makes great take out pizza, and they have huge ice cream cones in the shop beside the restaurant. There's a small petting zoo in the back for kids.

The gourmet pizza is great. It also has some more expensive, local farm to table offerings, but the wood fired pizza oven seems to be why most of the locals go there!

The most beautiful trail we know! The Coast Trail goes for about 6(ish) hours one way-so you can walk as far as you'd like. You may see eagles, otters, seals, sea lions and possibly some orcas (if you're very lucky). Just a few minutes away. There are trails in the interior which are easier walking, forest walks rather than ocean side.

Port Renfrew is a two hour scenic drive. If you can time it to arrive at low tide (check the tide tables), Botanical Beach has amazing tide pools-well worth the short hike down to the beach. Avatar Grove has some huge first growth trees.
