Crandon Park is located nine (9) miles away. Getting there you get to see the view off the Rickenbacker Causeway which is stunning and a must see. You can see Miami Beach, Village of Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove and further South. It is an expansive view of Biscayne Bay and a great place to walk and bike ride. You can stop at side entries to the Bay and just enjoy the view. Crandon Park has many amenities, including a great beach filled with Coconut Palm trees and an easy breeze. There is a garden and a Nature Center and place to rent paddle boards, go Kitesurfing and bicycle rentals. Great place for families or to just relax.

The Everglades is a unique eco-system in South Florida. If you love nature or just want to see an eco-system that you will not experience anywhere else, this is highly recommended. Holding small gators and seeing the variety of fauna and flora at the Everglades is amazing.
