Mt. Pamitinan has a more established trail that takes roughly 1.5-2.5 hours going up. The first part is forested, passing through some attractions such as an ancient balete, the rock climbing. The Hapunang Banoy Junction is a rest area prior to the second, rocky part the trail. This part will be enjoyable to those who are used to rock climbing or bouldering, and a bit of a challenge for beginners – for whom it will be manageable, but requiring of concentration and care. The rocks are surrounded with bamboo trunks, some of which have alternating sections of holdable green and thorny brown trunk segments.

Mt. Ayaas is a pleasant addition to the outdoor destinations of Rodriguez, Rizal. While Pamitinan, Binacayan, and Hapunang Banoi are practicality look-alikes, Mt. Ayaas is a mountain made distinctive by its river trekking and grassland slopes. Moreover, it is arguably the most challenging of the hikes in the area – even though all of them are relatively easy and are, as of July 2015, rated as Difficulty 3/9.
