A smaller more quirky version of the British Museum mostly focusing on natural history. Some wonderful stuffed animals ( not that I encourage this kind of thing)
The cafe is nice if sometimes busy with mums and kids and there is a lovely flower garden too. At the top you can see a great view over London.

If you want to look out over London from the rooftop whilst enjoying a drink this is the place to go. No frills but if the sun's out and you want to look at the skyline pay it a visit.

Independant, friendly and with a student & arty vibe to it this place serves ales, has live music, has dj's that spin vinyl not CD's and has a small cinema in the back. Very much at the forefront of Peckham's revival.

If you are into films then all tickets all day (& night) are £5.99
That's right only £5.99 to watch any film they are showing all week. They have about 6 or 7 screens too. Just go online to check out their listings.
To get there just catch the 363 from right outside my place.

This restaurant is new and serves up fish from the fishmongers next door. It has a daily lunch special for £10.
If you like fish this is the place to go.
My fave for an english brekkie when I don't want to do my own.
Choose 5 items for £6 and get tea or coffee and a slice of bread thrown in. Does good lunches too. Simple no frills grub.
Don't visit this place after 6pm though as it gets turned into a Tex Mex place which serves awful food.

151 Lordship LnI love this little Taiwanese restaurant in Peckham.
It serves small dishes including Bao's which are Taiwanese small baps filled with different options.
I love the tender stem broccoli with a special sauce.
You need to get 3 o4 dishes each or share them between 2 or 3 but you can eat out for £15. It's quite a small cosy place and busy too. If you turn up during the evening you might have to leave your number and they will call you once they can fit you in.

There are 2 sides to this turkish restaurant. On the right side is the main restaurant where you can get a good selection of dishes. If there are 2 then you can get a good deal sharing a mezze.
If you go into the left hand side its the takeaway side of the place but you can still sit down an eat there if you like. On the left hand side it's quite basic and you will have to deal with people coming for takeaways but if you do want to sit down my own favourite is a chicken bekti. For around £7.50 its great value.
