On a green hill just outside Berry, stand two silos and a Modern Australian restaurant. 80 years ago the silos stored grain. Today they cellar our restaurant’s wine. At Silos Restaurant, you may lunch with friends overlooking the Shiraz grapevines. In the evening, you will dine under a high ceiling by the open fireplace. Head Chef Nick Gardner (Quay, The French Laundry, Tetsuya’s) and the kitchen team marry native Australian ingredients and local produce with international technique.

Jervis Bay is a diverse and beautiful landscape filled with quiet beaches, towering cliffs and lush national parklands. Jervis Bay’s white sandy shores and clear waters make it a popular destination for holidaymakers. Beaches such as Hyams and Seven Mile Beach are great for swimming, kayaking, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, boating and surfing. Follow the idyllic White Sands Walk past secluded bays and inlets and perhaps even spot a colourful rosella or native lorikeet along the way.

Bens Walk commences at the Showground. Enjoy superb views of the river and the golf course. Views of the mountains can be seen from vantage points along the way. The area surrounding Bens Walk provides a habitat for a variety of birds. The complete track provides a leisurely return walk of about 5.5 kilometres taking around two hours. A short return walk from the footbridge to the Showground and Hanging Rock takes around 10 minutes.

The unique shapes of the Drawing Room Rocks are the result of the weathering of the Hawkesbury Sandstone. Weathering, in this case, was accomplished over a long time span by a number of different agents: wind, rain, cold, heat and chemicals in rainfall. The sandstone of the Drawing Room Rocks is horizontal strata, so the flat table tops consist of stone made up of a harder more resistant mineral layer which has remained when the softer surrounding rocks have eroded. The Drawing Room Rocks are located in the Barren Grounds Nature Reserve
